The Cretan International Community of Hania was established as a support group for people of all nationalities living in the Hania area of Western Crete and has the following aims:

• To assist recent arrivals to settle into their newly adopted country.   

• To produce a monthly newsletter as a resource guide, and forum.

• To promote local tourism, goods and services.  

• To organise social activities. 

• To support charitable and environmental organisations.  
  

When you join the Cretan International Community of Hania you become part of a group of people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures who share a love of the beautiful island of Crete. 

As a member you receive a monthly newsletter with notices of upcoming events, articles, advertisements for local businesses and informative listings.  You are also entitled to a free listing for your business or service in the CIC Business Directory.  And you are eligible for a discount on tickets for many CIC events.
